Types of Baby Clothes - Changing Mats

Once you have a baby, you'll be changing a lot of diapers. It's not difficult, but it's important to keep hygenic because a chances are you'll be getting some urine and fecal matter on your changing station. Some people choose to use single-use changing mats. They're basically large rectangular cotton pads that you can throw away after using. However they can be quite costly, as you may need to keep buying them. The other option is reusable changing mats. Ours are double layered - the ltop is cotton, and the bottom is waterproof so that no liquids or fecal matter can seep through. Once you're done using it, you can just throw it into the washing machine.
